Re-animating this thread again because the launch is in just 13h! Remember, the servers might go live as early as 9pm tonight so be ready if you want a specific name. Once a name is taken by a character on your account it is tied to said account for 24 hours after the character is deleted. So roll Sorrows Furnace and lets do this!

Removing a map because of the voting habits of newer players is silly. Keep it pls.

i loved the map. The simple, clean aesthetic was great. And yes, the last jump is incredibly jittery.

just join some server
(recommend jumpiT if you are na, or chillout if you are eu)
and i'm sure you'll pretty much at any time find someone better than you than can give you some tips

i tried this people usually ignore me becuase there either "to busy" or just dont care

A lot of the beginner question have been answered 100x before by people who know the answer, so don't take it personally if people don't speak up. There is a lot you can do by yourself to improve by using resources people have already made.

I found Gizm0's "Littleman with skeys" to be very helpful when I was starting. The video of red side can be found here:
jump_littleman - RED side - TF2 jump tutorial with keys displayed
Alternatively, just sit in spectator with skeys on and watch people jump. I learned a lot this way.

Once you understand what buttons to press, it's just a matter of practice. There is a video for practically every map done as soldier, so you can see how other people have done some jumps you may be stuck on.

BTW for those barbs that want high DPS, get 30% crit chance and 150% crit damage
I have somewhat a bit over that and I do 33k dps with ruthless and berserker rage passives
Still maintaining 450 res and 34k life.

Also I found Natalya's soul, sold for 2.55 mil
Bought good equipment
Found legendary staff
Found 12k dps bow literally 5 minutes after I found legendary, sold for 1.7 mil.
Currently selling staff for 800k

Depending on the stats of the Nat boots and bow, you may have sold them for WAY too cheap.

Unofficial patch notes for 1.0.3
http://d3db.com/news/id/268-datamined-10310057-patch-notes-unofficial/

That IAS nerf is gonna hurt

It looks extremely heavy handed =\ We'll have to see how it works with the adjustments they are making to the difficulty curve of inferno.

I am kind of frumpled with this game. Ya - fucking frumpled. Maybe I am just a bit impatient... or get bored easily. I dont know. But the whole process of playing the same. exact. story. from start to finish. only the mobs are harder to kill each time you restart. I don't understand how anyone doesnt get bored as fuck with it... and i dont know if the other diablos were the same way (i never played em) but seriously how many years were they making this game? My god... it just seems so lazy. It irks me.

Also inferno is retarded. And ruined the game for me. It is not fucking fun.

The multiple difficulty levels was introduced to pad content, and it somehow has become iconic of Diablo. Blows my mind too. I don't mind it though. I'm still having a lot of fun.

They are re-balancing inferno and group play next patch. Here is a preview posted today if you are interested:

Much needed changes imo.

I would rather play the game than kulle farm.

Same 4 minutes, or same 4 acts.  You're repeating yourself either way.

Though, I do find that khasim outpost is a faster levelling route.

Diablo is a game of repetition. It's all about how you package doing the same thing over and over again so it remains fun. Once you're on your 2nd to 3rd alt, I understand powerleveling, but it sounds like this is Donny's first character. It would be a shame to skip the game like.

On another note, is anyone playing hardcore?

Not level 60

Considering you can 1-60 in about 4 hours, that's your prerogative

I would rather play the game than kulle farm.

@MIKE

I love the NV system and the challenge of champion packs. I agree, it does get stupid at times, but I like the challenge even if it ends up being futile. I've been "farming" for gear, but it doesn't feel like farming. I'm just playing the game and getting nice drops. Especially off  warden/butcher. 5stack NV buff on the right bosses gets you like 6 blues and 2 rares guaranteed. In any case, I'm still in act1, so we'll see if I have a change of heart come act2

@Donny

Hmm, didn't know you were in nm. If you're having trouble, re-evaluate your build, or buy a fancy new weapon off the AH. I was using a 800 2h i found when i started in inferno, but buying a 800 1h to use with an offhand made a huge difference. Having your dps jump up 10% can drastically change your experience. The meta for high level barbs is tanky from what I've seen. It seems like a battle of attrition come act3/4 inf. They are going to re-balance that meta in a coming patch though, so don't give up on barbs yet.
