Very poorly made video by me using these jumps
I didn't get all of the jumps sadly 8( if this version is bad enough I'll make a new one

TF2Jump | Unused JOTWs from July

Why do you think it's poorly made?  Other than your obvious bad taste in music, the video is great :)

I see your vacation did you some good, great idea man.

And you screwed me adding that hopstep jump in there lol..

Also much respect for all the failing you have to filter through to get to the good stuff, this must take you some good time.  Thanks again for doing it.

I was under the impression that the original is limiting to your potential with jumping.  As you don't get the same push on right walls.  I read on here that there are some jumps out there you can't do with the original is this true?  I'm not advanced enough to know, but I have read that here from some pretty reputable jumpers.

I would love to switch to the original since I have a lot of trouble aiming slightly left in other game types like bball, DM and MGE.

Using !reset should only teleport you to the beginning and not change your save point.  Maybe you did !restart instead which clears your save point and teleports you to the start.  You can try !undo to restore your last saved location, but I'm not sure if it'll work in this case.

I"ve noticed a few of my save points dropped from the server over the last few months.  However never while I was in game.

There just seems to be a lot of rude people in this community (Not trying to point you out Kairu since I barely even know you :L) whether it's people that are over-egotistical, have dumb grudges, or when things get taken out of hand when it's really not a big deal in the first place. It's just one of the many things that I've really noticed in a lot of different threads. Even if a post is sarcastic it's just... idk, dumb/uneeded I guess

When I first joined this community I made a joke in the where are you from thread about being the best jumper from Canada because that seemed to be a theme of the posts before me.  I immediately had 4 guys join the server the day after named "best Canadian jumper 1" 2" 3" and so on attacking and flaming me in chat telling me how bad I was.  I thought that was kind of odd.

I totally agree however, there are 2 or 3 guys I've come across that I don't mind ignoring when I run into them.

Whenever I exec it i get sever lines of text in the console saying Unknown Command:wait and then i get no extra regen.

The server you're playing on has the wait command disabled.  This needs to be enabled.

There is an option in settings that says something to the effect of always use pyro vision in spectactor.  Make sure that isn't checked.  Give that a go.

Well you obviously haven't played it on the server in awhile, because all that happens is 10+ people getting stuck on the first jump making it absolutely impossible due to the chaos.  That map is a great map but is one for personal use on your own server without interference in my gracious opinion.  The map clears the server faster than the conc maps.

People being unskilled isn't a requisite to remove it. Sync and squared are there as well. You can /hide to avoid 80% of the chaos.

I will have to try /hide next time hopefully before the server clears out.  I didn't realize that the /hide command stopped the server from reporting other players to me.  Hopefully that will steady the data loss and it making it impossible.

If you are about taking a hard nose on maps that shouldn't be on the server, why in the f is jump_bounce on the server?

Bounces on jump_bounce are easy.  They are not random, and there are hints to tell you how to do it. Why would I remove it? What reason is there?

Ok before I lose it all here is some information I gathered and filtered from asking help regarding mouse settings.

Guide to how a mouse actually works.

Calculators

Wonderland used 6"/360 with 400DPI if anyone is curious.  So using the calculator that comes out to 6.8 sens in game.

so randumb lelelelelelelxD

Bad textures, sure.

Bad humour, sure.

Walking on skybox, sure.

Text on the middle of your screen through the entirety of a jump? Nah.  v3 edit or remove that please... not putting something that freaking retarded dumb on the server.

Yeah, test it yourself. I guarantee any mouse on the market will show slight signs of acceleration (either positive or negative) as you go towards its extreme ranges of dpi. As I said before though it's a small difference and won't actually matter, but please don't get the mindset that highest dpi = best precision/performance because it's not true.

Ok thanks, what I ended up with was matching my dpi to my sensitivity of 1 to = my comfort range of 5.9"/360 ish for soldier and 8.2"/360 for sniper and scout.  Seems to be a sweet spot for me and is working great for jumping and in game.

If anyone is interested:

2800 Dpi, 1 in game sensitivity is 5.8"/360 degree's
2000 Dpi, 1 in game sensitivity is 8.2"/360 degree's

Thanks for the good input guys, appreciate it.
