The stats webpage is back to reading in the correct data however I can't confirm the server is actually submitting the data to the right place until I get in contact with Klare later tonight.  I'll post more then!

One more thing, would be nice if someone could delete all the courses/poles on duey. They are messed up to the point where they need to be completely redone (wasnt me though :D).

I've cleared the poles.  Someone will need to redo them before times can be registered on duey again.  (if anyone else still knows how).

Once new poles are in place I will clear the old times and courses.

Klare would need to approve it because the map store is actually Jump iT's.

I cleared out the times you reported (if I missed any let me know and I will go back and look for them/others).  Conveniently we now have a lot of data on what a legitimate run on each map looks like (with the exception of a few maps with only a couple runs).  If I have some time I will be running some tests to see if we can sample the existing runs pool to determine if a given new time is likely to be fake or not.

On Bhop times (quad times, etc):
These are not considered when calculating rank (if I remember correctly), if that is not the case they are assigned a scalar which diminishes their value, but I can check into/change that if there is interest.

Also in about 5 minutes all of the stats signatures will work again.

Requests / Re: Some suggestions
« on: August 05, 2012, 02:19:24 PM »
1. Separate leaderboards for demo/soldier/medic. I don't understand why they're all integrated into the same leaderboard.

You can filter times by class once you get down to a per-player or per-map basis in the existing interface.  The global ranking is calculated off an algorithm which takes into consideration the differences between the classes when running any given map.

2. A world record page. Basically just a separate webpage for the top times for each map, and perhaps making  it so that the players provide a demo of the run also, just for learning purposes. A separate toggle on this WR page would show which players have the most world records. The main reason I want this is that you don't need a functional timer in the server, just send in your demo and someone in charge will regulate it (there was a program used to make sure the game settings were default, so you couldn't send in a demo with sv_gravity 700 or something. If this suggestion actually comes to fruition, I'll try and find the program again, although it was for cs 1.6 so idk if it'll work for tf2 as well).

We do not permit times submitted off unapproved servers (or local servers) for a reason.  Collecting demos of world records for educational purposes is not a bad idea but if we were to take those recordings and turn them into entries in the database there are a number of reasons why such a system would not work (regulations, ping differences, amount of effort required).

Not to mention difficulties in getting jumpers to submit demos. (See: any demo call ever for anything even remotely related to jumping).

In short: no

News and Announcements / TF2Jump Logo Pack
« on: February 18, 2012, 12:40:27 AM »
There have been some requests for high resolution versions of the TF2Jump logo.  This logo pack should be enough to make anything you want with the "brand."  There is clear transparency around each logo so that you can easily cut it out or even the individual letters.  If you have photoshop you can simply apply hue > saturation to the "JUMP" part to change the hue but keep the washed out pastel look.

also, about times
i need to talk to whoever places de checkpoints on the maps.........and that person is?

Lots of different people placed them during the initial setup phase of skillsrank.  It also depends on the server.  For JumpiT a majority were placed by Cranck, rush, conductor, and a few others.  In general talking to me, cranck, or klare will get someone working on it.
