General Discussion / Re: Rocket Jumper Collection

I'm hoping Raiin, Matti and Wonderland see this.  Raiin's signatiure was definitely high in my list, but he's ignored me both times i tried adding him ;_;

I know of multiple people who have got Raiin's signature. He is occasionally on AusJump (probably bad location), but when he is you might get a signature.

.  I think 'intermediate' players could probably beat most of these jumps if they put the time in, but it's definitely the upper end of the intermediate scale.

idk man soar 16.... that jump had me stuck for months

As salient famously said, "16 is where the dream ends"

Haha, can't wait until I reach 16, that shall be my goal, I'm currently on 13. Thanks everyone for the maps+tips  :)

Jump Help / Better than intermediate?
« on: March 04, 2013, 12:47:36 AM »
There are a lot of tutorials around for beginner jumpers, which is awesome. However, it just seems quite difficult to become anything more than intermediate. To become the level of those in jump movies etc. Is there any way but practice or is it just that? If there are any great ways, can anyone make an intermediate tutorial or just some advice?
I agree with what wonderland said in one of his videos a while back, something along the lines of 'most jumpers get to a level then plateau'. How do you overcome this so called 'plateau'?
Thanks for any responses  :)

Id say for the first one, you need to c-tap.
The second you place your rockets correctly, you can probably do those techniques if you are that far in the map.

Hello everyone, thanks for checking this out. So my problem at the moment is that I can't seem to find any jump map that is the right difficulty for me. I would consider myself an intermediate jumper. The hardest map I have beaten is jump_bomb. I really loved that map because it was the perfect difficulty for me. It was a challenge to beat. (My video of it here, Thank you bombs for the great map  ;D)
TF2: Jump_Bomb (Multi Angles) With Bonus - Soldier - Fishy

Could anyone please recommend some good intermediate maps or some tips to be better (or to improve my videos  ;)). Thank you all in advance.
~ Fishy

Edit: I have beaten cheval and heavy. I am at red 10 littleman. (for reference)
