Some kid
Id say for the first one, you need to c-tap.
The second you place your rockets correctly, you can probably do those techniques if you are that far in the map.

There is no ctap required, he's 100% wrong.  It's just wallshotting, check the wallshot portion of the ultimate video guide for specific keypresses.

Note: there are only like 5 maps that require a ctap.  If you think it's a ctap, you're probably wrong in 99% of cases.

could not agree more with everything kairu just said. people are far too dependent upon ctap and seem to think you need to do it for every jump....

yeah and c-tap examples shown for competitive use are actually bad; although they potentially give you versatility you are very easy to airshot (you can't strafe to avoid being hit because you can't make the jump if you turn). however for rollouts, although I don't know any specific examples, I am sure there are some rollouts that involve c-tapping

Couldn't think of something clever to put
ctap everything

also for that jump I usualy try to get enough speed so you can just strafe after you hit the wall (the first one)

for the second one you just have to strafe at the right time, just requires a bit of practice

No rollouts require c-tapping

Just like most other jumps in a competitive setting:

Require? No.  Improved by? Certainly.

it have some special rollouts you can do with ctap and gunboats at badlands. like the balcony rollout to the other sides balcony. you jump with ctap from the one balcony to the other. tried it some times and was killed but it was funny :D
most ctap jumps are end jumps to get better position like the big door ctap to top of mid point at gully.

Depends mostly how you aim it.  The roaming soldier will be running gunboats 90%+ of the time anyway, and he is the one who does the jumping on a rollout, while the pocket will generally equalize.

Hi
Yea but ctap isnt that important anyway. You could like consistantly jumo 691 units but still suck at roll outs and stuff since most rollouts dont require ctaps and most jump maps too
