Speedshots (jumps where you touch the ground) may take some practice - watch some videos on youtube, preferably with selfdamage sound turned on. It might help you with timing.

Elfen Lied. Short series (12 episodes) about a girl with special powers. It's pretty gory the first episode, but that's about it.

I second that.

Also, my recommendation would be Cowboy Beebop - sf action anime, not so involving as Ghost in The Shell.

I really enjoyed your video. Its the simplicity that got to me - no aggressive music, not much editing, simple, low quality textures.

I believe skype and mumble use the same audio codecs, and have ~the same delay.  Skype is fast, at least, for sure.

I did not know that. We tested Skype a long time ago, things have probably changed since then.

You see, I want to use skype because when you use anything like Mumble or any other Channel based chat, it's pretty much the same as using in voice chat with TF2

Not really - I dont have experience with Mumble -, but on Ventrillo and TS 2 or 3 its possible to lock the channel, so no random players (random players = squeeking 12 years old ;) ) will disturb your gaming session. Also, TF2/Steam and Skype have a pretty big sound delay (i would say about 300-500ms), so it might get frustrating, but that depends on gameplay type.

Auto voice recognition is supported by "channel based chat softare" too

[...] but Skype is great because it's more private and you get to "chill" with the group of people and it's like steam, easy to set up and let's you know when peeps are online.

About set up, if you or your friends are able to setup TF2, then they are able to setup Mumble\Vent\TS, its not a big deal.

Call me wierd, but I've been chilling with my friends for over eight years, using TS2 (and TS3 later on).

Jump Help / Re: EASIER demo jump maps?

jump_khoa, jump_fisyx, jump_tissue, jump_drexen, jump_noob (not jump_noob2).

Some jumps are harder, some are easier, but there are no airpogos longer than 3 stickies on all of the above maps. They have jumps that contain most of the required skills to progress to harder maps.  So its a good place to start. They may be demanding, but thats all what jumping is about.

Also jump_speed and jump_lite might be a good idea but they are really simple. I didnt play jump_embrace so I have no opinion on that, but people tend to recommend it to new jumpers.

Last thing - get comfortable with pogo, and land to air jump (I dont know the proper name in english, sorry). Pogo is the key to get to more advanced things, it also teaches you the timing.

Nice server, but imo it needs !nominate + !rtv, not a map cycle.

New Maps / Re: How to use these maps?
« on: August 28, 2012, 09:47:32 AM »
Put mapfile in /accountname/team fortress 2/tf/maps folder, eg. jump_beef.bsp, then go in-game, launch console by ~ (tilde) and type -> "map jump_xxxx" without "" ofc. 'jump_xxxx' is a map name, eg. jump_beef.

Or just find a jump server, wich is way more fun ;)
