Hi, i wanna start posting jump videos on youtube.
But, im not like most veterans but i can jump well.
So im here to ask you guys to name some nice maps...

The only thing so far i can't do is droppogo.

Oh, and since im here, i wanna ask something:

How do i fix the aspect ratio on pldx to vdub movies?
And how do i sync the game sound with the video perfectly?

Most maps have been done by others before. I don't think jump_everest, jump_volcanic, and jump_soar have any videos yet. Virtual dub doesn't affect the aspect ratio at all, just make sure you record, render and encode at 1280x720 resolution. You're most likely rendering the video at 720x480 (default resolution of most editing programs). To sync the videos just select the "match video and audio duration" option as opposed to entering the fps you recorded at.

There isn't any run on jump_heaven, but i wouldn't recommend it cause it will have more jumps.

Also, you have conc and quad maps :D

Virtual dub isn't an editing program though. There aren't any free editing programs worth using, the best available is Windows Movie Maker. Sony Vegas is the best option to start with, since it's easy to learn and a lot of people are familiar with it. Adobe premiere is another nice program, if you're on a Mac I've heard good things about Final Cut.

Okay
True, but when you're merging the tga's to a video you can throw out the pictures you don't need and make it look better, right? :p

Sure, if you want to look through 50 000+ images, delete the ones you don't want, then rename all the others so they're in numerical order. In Vegas it takes one button to split a clip.
