General Discussion / Is edgeSLIDING possible?
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:01:37 PM »
So everyone knows about edgebugs, however while surfing today something really weird happened. I pulled off an edgebug, but sort of airstrafed back and traveled in a straight line for a second on a plane surface while retaining all my momentum.

Is this possible to pull off? I'd imagine it would be incredibly, insanely, inhumanely difficult to do.

I missed the first 3/4 of the premier. What did onakin do?

Basically did like a 50 sticky or so straight up airpogo, then continued to extend it forwards.

cool tutorial but i persoanlly dont like the bazooka so i will never use her.
to your question its pretty easy as you can see in the free camera view the rocket did explode right in front of you then behind...something that you tried to teach us with your tutorial...

Yeah, except it did it a lot quicker than normal. Which is what im trying to figure out.

General Discussion / Beggars Bazooka Jumping
« on: February 10, 2013, 05:45:32 PM »
Im not sure if this belongs in videos or not because I wanted to discuss Bazooka jumping in general here.

Theres a lot of neat things you can do with the Bazooka like triple walljumps, super quick pogos, triple syncs and overload jumping.
I have 2 neat videos here showcasing what it can do.
Part1

Part 2

The video below is what happened recently though. I tried replicating it but I could not find a way. Maybe someone could clue me in? There are probably more jump techniques to be done with this but this is all I have for now.

happened recently to me and I have no idea

Where can I find a video showing what this is?

I'm really wondering this, because I keep hearing that every possible jump technique has already been documented, but I'm wondering maybe there's some obscure jump technique I haven't heard of yet?

I recently discovered that jumping off friendly buildings gives you a slight speed boost, and I'm wondering if the same can be said of friendly players too. If you bunch up like 10 people in a corner from your team, will you get pushed insanely far? Some small things, interesting things like that.

I'd like to know what other obscure jump techniques there are, every last one of them.
