So everyone knows about edgebugs, however while surfing today something really weird happened. I pulled off an edgebug, but sort of airstrafed back and traveled in a straight line for a second on a plane surface while retaining all my momentum.

Is this possible to pull off? I'd imagine it would be incredibly, insanely, inhumanely difficult to do.

Hmm maybe. It may depend on the air acceleration. I know in cs you can get some weird edgebugs, presumably since the air acceleration is higher, like in this movie:

Check out the one at 1 minute... Typically you need horizontal speed in the direction of where the edge is but that one was the opposite.
