Hi,

I am trying to make a JM but in some maps there is a problem that I can't solve.
In some maps, like badlands and badwater, when I play the demo, it appears on the pyrovision mode, and I can't play a demo without the pyroland.

By the way I record the demo and after I record with fraps. I don't know if it is the right way to do it.

You can fully disable pyrovision in options I believe. Fraps is not at all what you want to use. You want to find a demo recorder like pldx, record your demo at a high quality, put that in a program like virtual dub, and then edit the resulting avi in a video editor like sony vegas. Tutorials on this everywhere.

But if you don't have the amount of space on your computer left, you can't really use PLDX/Lawena/Almie's recording tool. It will use several GB. It will also require some extra work.

Otherwise you have to use fraps.

About pyrovision, fidle around with settings. Maybe you have those goggles equiped.

There is an option in settings that says something to the effect of always use pyro vision in spectactor.  Make sure that isn't checked.  Give that a go.

There are options in advanced options to turn off pyrovision in replay and spectate. Try un-equipping the goggles aswell.

tf_replay_pyrovision 0
tf_spectate_pyrovision 0

It's literally impossible for me and a lot of people to use fraps though. I have a 4 year old laptop and lag just replaying the demos. Fraps just takes giant shits on my comp. Even with a good computer the quality will only be as good as you're experiencing
