Well I'm going to still put some effort into a few jumps and see where that goes.

I do however like the idea of anyone being able to submit standalone jumps for everyone to play test and add suggestions. People who can not map, could also try and draw or write out a explanation of jump and see what the mappers can come up with.

I'd be down for making something.

I'll keep checking back to see if there are any min/max spec's for the jump creation.

Jump Help / Re: Jumping off a flat surface without touching it

The main thing to concern yourself with when trying to do a skip jump is not the actual skip but the rocket you use to set yourself up for it. The skip itself is fairly easy when it's just a single skip, like in the jumps you've mentioned.

With the first rocket, you want to reach the skip with as little falling speed as possible, and if you can still be rising then even better. I can guarantee the reason you're failing the beef skip is because you're getting too much height from your first rocket so when you try to skip you barely go anywhere. Try to aim as far behind you as you can for the first rocket while still getting enough height to actually skip off the platform, aim straight down and you should make it.

/thumbs up

If I may add.. the skip on beef requires you to try and stay as low as possible while going over the platform. The closer you can stay above the platform for the skip.. the better off you are at clearing the gap.

One thing you can try and do for some of these skips that require you to sail across large gaps ie. beef. Is when you are just about to skip, aim back a little bit to give that extra push. Sometimes this is needed.. but most of the time it is not. It just helps give you more forward momentum.

Stop being so full.. whenever I want to jump its full.

I've been forced to join random servers. Most pretty much suck, Especially HG's jump server.. not to mention how many lamers hang out there.

Anyway to expand to some more slots? If not I understand.

Oh and Klare, sorry I didn't get that "Christmas donation" out yet.. been a bit busy with work.

4200 DPI with a 6.7 in game.. soo about 2-3 cm/360 That's only for TF2.

Other games tend to be maxed out, or just about in the middle.

I have a 17inch hardpad that I can drag around on, which is Dual side textured... for the type of control / feel and drag of the mouse.

Made it half way in, so far really liking it. Took a look further in with noclip and seems really interesting. Although for me, some jumps take a huge difficulty curve.

The pogo with moving walls was a blast.
