Whatever / Help finding some songs
« on: December 10, 2011, 03:40:07 PM »
I don't know if someone remembers, but Plaisi used to upload jump maps with keygen musics. I know this might be hard to remember or anything, but does someone know the name of the songs? Does anybody has those videos archived? Can is anyway to reach his old account?

A place to start - many possibilities | TF2 Jumping

Well, this is my first attemp to do a "freestyle" movie.
The movie itself is raw, no edit, no intro, no nothing, just jumps and a song.

Please criticize my work.

General Discussion / The ressuply problem.
« on: June 10, 2011, 02:15:14 PM »
Hi guys, since the latest update, my servers are experiencing a problem.

When you stay "ressuplying", the timing between rockets is reduced, and this fucks with pogo,!regen on, and maps who does have the infinite supply on.

How to proceed?

Jump Help / Skip, Advanced Wallpogo and Speedpogo the jumping trinity!
« on: March 25, 2011, 01:13:36 PM »
Hi guys, im here today to ask the supreme assistance on the hardest things to learn in jumping.
Im days to come, i'll start teaching some people how to jump, but, as you can see, im not a true master.
There are many things that i can't do really well, but only 3 of them i do at benginners luck, and these are the skip jumps, wallpogo and the speedpogo.
I think it would be nice of you that are the most fasbulous jumpers to name some maps to be praticing heavily and some good old fashioned hints.

Maps like jump_ice_v4 arent made for soldier so i can't do it, there is no regen on it.

Thanks in advice.

General Discussion / Jumping style reaches Brazil!
« on: March 24, 2011, 11:14:35 AM »
Hello everyone, my name is sovietdrunk, i am glad to tell this wonderfull news. (for me at least)

After some years of trials and hard work, i've finally got a server to get jumping in mass!
However i came here to ask for some hands and minds.
My task, is to get a lot of maps, and split them by level, do you guys feel me?
Im wondering about the several maps that aren't in fpsbana (gamebanana) and aren't played that much (jump_gman_beta1).
I would  appreciate if some of the major jumpers help me in this incredible task.

Jump Videos / Maps to do?
« on: March 18, 2011, 05:35:27 PM »
Hi, i wanna start posting jump videos on youtube.
But, im not like most veterans but i can jump well.
So im here to ask you guys to name some nice maps...

The only thing so far i can't do is droppogo.

Oh, and since im here, i wanna ask something:

How do i fix the aspect ratio on pldx to vdub movies?
And how do i sync the game sound with the video perfectly?

Jump Help / 1 to 10
« on: January 03, 2011, 11:30:06 AM »
I think that adding a part in "Jump Help" on the site would be good.
It's quite simple, i guess.
Since we have a lot of video-tutorials, i think would be good refering maps to accomplish the training.
Like, starting with something really simple: rj_rocketeer, jump_synth_a2,jump_impact,....,jump_littleman_v3

What do you guys think?

Jump Help / Help Developing skills.
« on: December 23, 2010, 02:10:18 PM »
Hi,im new at fps games, i've playing tf2 for 1 year, and been playing jump maps seriously for 2 months.
I've been playing alone, downloading some maps at fpsbanana, until i've found the chillout server.
I passed by, and got some good maps to play. Now there with this forum, i think i'll be able to evolve enough to actually do some challenges listed by CranK.
A map in particular is really tricky and hard to do (for me), the map is jump_aBuQ, course three.
I can do the first and second course easily, but, the third course is really hard to do.
Here's a video of it:
Small | Large

It's exactly at 3:03, this jump isn't that hard, but building speed to lift is a challenge for me.
Again, at 3:48, another tricky jump, i can't even stay in the wall.
And finally, at 5:10, the last one, and the most tricky. I can't sync the rockets like he does.
I hope i can find the proof to show competitive players here in brazil that jumping isn't something fancy and not necessary.
