It's getting pretty annoying by now.

For speedruns the explosions are distracting as hell imo.
jump.it and jujump.it have them disabled all the time, that isn't even needed. I'd be fine if !hide would just disable explosions along with models.

It's the egypt/pillar/pillar_skin texture, didn't happen with any other texture.

General Discussion / Can you make displacement illusionary?

I tried just making it an entity and set it to func_illusionary, but then i got this error Error: "displacement found on a(n) func_illusionary entity - not supported (entity 78, brush 0)"

Soooo, can i make it illusionary somehow?

General Discussion / Bounce heights after hitting a roof?

Was wondering how you measure bounce heights after hitting a roof (crouched)

I tried using a walk off height from this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkBpyyZfWCczdGFOcHloSV93SmNTbmxoWDdPT3d2dmc#gid=0

And then add the height of a player being ducked, which should be 63 https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Team_Fortress_2_Mapper%27s_Reference#Model_sizes


So I would for example take 820 and add 63, so I end up with a platform being 883 units above another platform.


But that just doesn't work :(



So what am I missing?

General Discussion / Using A and D for going through backpack pages?

Some time ago I was able to use A and D to go through my backpack but that won't work anymore.

Thought it was caused by a custom hud but that didn't fix it

General Discussion / Rockets hitting team mates

There is this annoying thing that rockets won't go through your team mates, which can be extremly annoying for syncs and other stuff.
Does anyone know how to disable that on server? maybe it's even a cvar i dunno

As seen in the Screenshot, you can see what's behind that skybox.
Is there any way to make it just showing the sky?
