I dont know if this was answered earlier in the thread but is there going to be some kind of live scoreboard/leaderboard for each week so people know the current time to beat?

So I just played through the first 30 levels as solly, pretty damn fun tbh.

Was just thinking, would it be possible to make some walls non-shootable to force people to do the jumps the right way instead of giving limited regen, or would that mess up demo/conc runs?

Also it looks really nice + the end room is cool

It would be a sad day indeed if Chillout went offline :(

Even though I don't say much, this is definitely my favourite server and community online. Massive thanks w33d (and Light) for spending so much of your  money and time to keep it going and building such a great server.

I didn't donate before as I didn't see any links or anything so I guess I just didn't think about it but after  4+ years and probably around 1000 hours on the server I feel I kinda owe you. I'll be glad to donate a bit every now and then if the server stays up :)

wtf! those "much better quality" links, are not 1080p, but only 720p. How is that better?  :o

60fps is sooooo much better than 1080p for quality in my opinion

Yep, it's just not really very 'user friendly' at the moment, if you label all the jumps properly in order and sort them by difficulty (at least a bit, obviously wont be a very accurate curve)  I think you will get lots more feedback.

So far from what I played through (about 15 levels) the jumps are really good (i like the strafe :D ).

General Discussion / Re: What Separates TF2 from Other Shooters?

Where'd you hear 'soon'? I havn't even heard of alpha builds or anything other than 'yes, were making it', it's been in development for a relatively short time.

I heard that the engine is quite far along (they talked about how the movement feels really good so...) but yea I guess I should change that, probably wont be for at least 6 months. Im stupid

though i'd likely go to another fps if something good comes out

Reborn should come out 'soon' I have no idea (im stupid) which will hopefully be good as the developers (2GD and other quake oldschools) are saying they are putting a large emphasis on movement and physics w/ CPM like movement. Although there hasn't actually been any screenshots or in-game stuff which isn't a good sign...

I don't remember the HUD it's from but just download and put this folder ('econ') into your 'ui' folder ('resource\ui\') and it should enable the a/d stuff

Jump Help / Re: Skip Jump Map
« on: March 22, 2013, 01:02:23 PM »
I get what you mean Cranck, when I first learnt the names how I now know them (speedshot = touch ground, skip = doesn't) I thought it was silly how skipping wasn't touching the ground

But as like 95% of the community calls touching the ground speedshots and not touching the ground skips I just went along with it and now it seems weird calling them the other way

About the vagueness thing, having the pogo, speedpogo, skip and speedshot surely makes it less vague...

Pretty sure euros call speedshots skips and we call them speedshots.

Nope every euro i know uses speedshots as touching the ground, skips not touching

I don't see what the point of bhopping is in tf2 without no plugins

Pretty much just getting places that you cant without bhoping
