dude...
is true, the fire of the old timers has gone on low

i don't really know if its rekindleable, my best ideas would be more maps, and possibly events
but maps are already coming out... and events... what kind of events?... :-X

in short... true, and no idea what could be done about it (hell im one of the people not frequently coming to the servers anymore (though, if more people would conc, i'd prolly be back fairly quickly, ^^))

that will be much apreciated by the few quad jumpers that there is in tf2

But won't even ever be any big as even scout jumping once was (wich wasnt big at all)
There are even less quad jumpers than concers

@w33d I'm not of the old times, but i've been around quite a while, and like cranck i don't even go on servers anymore.....

I think it also has to do with what you make of it yourself. There's a bunch of jumpers dedicated enough to become a lot better at jumping. You might as well get in there and show them some of your skills. That said, if you don't play any other maps than the ones you just listed, there's not much fun in it. If you don't enjoy the newer maps, I think we should make more 'classic' maps. Not a bad idea.

I do agree jumping has changed over the years. A lot more advanced and new tricks have been invented which makes things more interesting. But then again, if you don't really give them a shot. There's still just so much going on in the jump scene.

I'm really bad with words today.

w33d, could you possibly explain what it is you like so much about the classic maps?

perhaps that could provide some insight

I guess just jumps with fairly simple concepts but still pretty tough to execute.
