I voted, but as nearly every tf2 netizen has pointed out, it's not going to happen. Competitive tf2 is tiny compared to giants like sc2 and LoL. But who knows? maybe it will, but it still will be incomparable to sc2 or LoL. Tf2 doesn't even rly make a good spectator esport either imo. Also I truly believe for competitive tf2 to grow there has to be a much better design in-game to handle it. There needs to be 6v6 matchmaking with ranking, and perhaps a ladder like in sc2. Valve has made their game way too casual friendly. It's why sc2 has succeeded as an esport, because there is ONLY competitive play. There's very little room for casuals. It's pretty blatant when you browse reddit too... the tf2 subreddit is about random artwork and in-game clips/screenshots from pubs: http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2 (although that mlg thread is currently #1) whereas the sc2 subreddit is all about following the pro-scene: http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft (although the top thread is about a k-pop song... lol) Honestly outside of b4nny I don't know any tf2 pro-gamers whereas I could name hundreds of high lvl sc2 players... though that's prolly cuz I played at a pretty high lvl myself for a few years.
