So I am thinking about starting up a beginner jump server... which would run easy maps like beef, rush, etc. and I was hoping to also get some tutorials (if you have ever been on surf it you know !surf brings up a youtube tutorial) for some of the basic jumps... I just wanted to get an opinion from some of you guys - do you think it would be used/worth the time and effort? I would start it small (prob 10 slots) and remove the maps that go on that server from jump it... thoughts?

I guess it would be a good idea since people are getting into jumping. I might play on your servers more often, but my ping throws off all my jumping unless I have under 10 :/

Well I'm still glad to jump with any ping, I'm just more used to low ones is all.

Yuss.

Would be less frustration for the more experienced jumpers when new jumpers rtv when they give up on the first jump.

Im not sure yet - If I actually do this there will need to be a discussion about that.... as well as what maps would be put on that server

Alright so we're probably going to be chucking this server up in the next day or so.... ready set MAPLIST. (this means suggest easy maps - remember they will be removed from jump it)

I was thinking people speedrunning on maps with very beginners might be a bad idea because of them interfering with the map mechanics like pagoda 8 or parts of adventure. This exists on jumpit atm, but it made sense to me to separate people speedrunning and people learning the basic mechanics. I didn't think speedrunning would be happening on jujumpit which is why I asked that. my baaaaad

jump_rush, jump_beef, jump_adventure, jump_impact, jump_orange, jump_aznbob, jump_bob, jump_hobo, jump_noob, jump_speed, jump_synth, and rj_training.

I think rj_rckteer and jump_4starters should also be added but left on Jump iT as well. 

Also I just made this list off of memory so I probably missed a few that belong on the new server.
