I'm here to share a little story with you all about the *potentially* greatest TF2 competitive team of all time, and about the man who brought them together. I usually wouldnt even bother taking the time to retell a story that most people probably wont even care about... but this amazing man has become a well known face on the iT servers, and I think people should get to know him a little better. I am talking about our friend Okas, or more recently known as br0kas - Team iT's roster mastermind. Ill break it up in spoilers for the people who use the recent posts feature because I have a lot to say about the biggest hole of lies I have yet to encounter online... here we go.

A Little Background...

About a month ago Okas became my friend on steam... and literally from the moment I clicked Accept I have been his new e-bestie. And I dont want to go on and say he is a bad guy (though its hard to classify him as a good guy after finding out I have been force fed lies pretty much since the begining), nor do I want to imply that everything he says is a lie. I am just going to lay out some of the facts and let those of you who actually read this come to your own conclusions. Anyways, when we first started talking he told me all about his competitive history... as well as his plans to play again next season for Quantic. Seeing as Quantic is the only team I keep any sort of tabs on... I was slightly baffled when he told me he was replacing my buddy cyzer due to him having too many RL commitments - but according to okas, cyzer didnt know about this little switcheroo yet. Up to this point I had no reason not to believe what he was telling me and I'm not one to meddle in other peoples business... so i just kind of absorbed the news. Right around this time I started advertising the site on Community Fortress and mentioned it to him... which he seemed to be really excited for us and wanted to help out. He said he is good friends with all the people who run all the big TF2 websites and would have articles published about the community on all of them! I was very taken aback at how much he wanted to help out and told him we would definitely appreciate the publicity. A week or so later he kept messaging me on irc telling me the articles were up! The articles were up! So of course I asked excitedly for links... somehow everytime I asked for the links he magically had to leave for an emergency of some sort. I never got any links... and while I really hate to badmouth people who voluntarily offer to help out the community, it just seemed very sketchy that he would message me so many times to let me know the articles were up but would never let me see them. Why even bother volunteering to help out then pretending you put these non-existant articles up and messaging me to tell me? There were a few other sketchy instances... like saying he would donate hundreds of dollars once his new bank card arrived... then asked if i would gift him MW3 for his birthday. Just weird shady stuff.

So just about 2 weeks has gone by... talk of Team iT and the mysterious roster of the century has been talked up daily on the servers and in irc. Okas told me pretty much daily for the past week that he was going to be "registering the team with ESEA tonight"... but for some strange reason this team wasnt getting registered. I honestly knew in the back of my head this was pretty bogus and I shouldnt really believe anything until I see it officially registered. And apparently people were still interested in playing back up... all the way up until just a few days ago. Since I do not actually know any of these people on the team, all I knew was what okas was telling me... and this team was pumped. So two nights ago I get an excited message from Okas... Team iT is going to have their first scrim! And I simply must be there... the scrim was scheduled for last night at around 7:30ish - and of course I cleared my schedule to be home. Earlier yesterday okas and I were on Jump iT and he was talking about the team members and the official roster for the scrim. Here you go guys... the Team iT Roster:

Well it just so happened that my buddy cyzer was in irc and caught a look at the lineup... lots of lolling and bullshit came from his corner. He didnt believe it one bit... so i told him to come watch the scrim with me! At this point I wasnt really sure who they were scrimming against though...

I'm still somewhat amazed at this guys lie and the level he took it to. As much as I want him to go fuck himself... I am almost curious what he thought would happen when his team had to actually to be nonfiction. Anyways - fuck this guy and do not unban him from any of the iT servers admins.
