this happens when i try to compile

is there anyway to fix this. I can't test my map.

I don't know shit about mapping or anything, but I suggest putting the map in the folder called maps in your tf folder, instead of the folder where it is now.

Copy and paste your compile log into this: http://www.interlopers.net/errors/ to find out the problem.

I've had this problem before, usually it happens when you want to rename your .bsp to something else, but hammer doesn't like that shit, so what I did is to copy everything from your map (file > select all), and paste onto a new map file or whatever

save and name it however you want.

the problem was that the box was on the very edge of the grid, thanks for the help.

man, does nobody bother read the compile log?
"HashVec: point outside valid range"


 the system cannot find the file specified - 99% of the time means the compile crashes

as for that specific bug, like you said somethings outside of the grid in hammer. normally happens because of an entity origin
