Sure, if you want to look through 50 000+ images, delete the ones you don't want, then rename all the others so they're in numerical order. In Vegas it takes one button to split a clip.
literally all you have to do is delete the images you dont want in virtual dub right before you make the avi. this is done by pressing the delete button Why would you spend the time doing that when you can just cut the parts out in vegas by hitting s twice? I record at 480 fps and a typical map run is about 2 minutes. If you do the math that's 57 600 images you'd have to scroll through to pick out the parts you want to delete. Not to mention it would disrupt the audio/video sync as virtual dub wouldn't recognize the fact that some images are missing. Go ahead and do that method if you want but you'll end up wasting lots of time and a video with shitty audio sync.
you have no idea what youre talking about (it doesnt take long, you probably save more time than it takes because you dont have to encode as much stuff), its not like you have to individually select every single frame. its more precise than cutting in vegas because you can do frame by frame (if. you. want. to. if. not. you. can. delete. in. chunks.) and the audio is cut with the video dont be stupid.
