eXiGe pretty much exhaustively tested the numbers on rocket jumps and ctaps, so go with what he says, but in my opinion, I simply consider anything 628 units or higher a ctap...691 being the highest known ctap.  685 units is also a number considered quite good for a ctap that's not using any special scripts/macros, so I'd try to hit that number if you can.

Hi
There is a few factors that could determine the heights to practice with. Are you using the original? The default requires extra movement of +right to get the same numbers. Do you plan to crouch at the top of the jump? Add 20 to your final height if so.

I'd recommend getting your attack + jump working in unison first. The height you would be reaching for that is 359 or 379 if you crouch at the top. It's easiest with mouse2 as +jump.

Minimum height for a good rocket jump is 556 / 576, to test bringing it together.

Ctapping is merely bottoming your crouch key for a split second and hitting attack + jump the moment you release it. Possible numbers are 615 / 635 if you don't hold crouch long enough or 642 / 662 for a normal height ctap.

Higher numbers are achieved with throwing in delays between attack and jump, around 15-30ms. Maximum height for a "perfect" ctap is 671 / 691.
But i managed to get 691 by doing the normal ctap way

It can be done without a ctap... so not very high

Only 608 units, so it's not even a ctap...just a good standard rocket jump.

Uhm, not too familiar with that map, but I'm guessing you mean jump 7.  It's 640 units, although in the water surrounding it, it says 240 units for some reason.

Hi
lol 691 is extremely difficult with default laucher. i can only get 691 with a default 1/25 of trys. Jumps like 685 units i believe can be done consistently.
