the0burger0king is noob

edit:

dellort is also a noob -- wrcps could be one of the coolest things ever added to jumping. They wouldn't be nearly as useful for analyzing your speedrun like they are in surf due to the extra running from stage to stage on a lot of maps, but adding some incentive to do jumps creatively for the fastest time on that stage could be fun. Additionally, a lot more players could be involved in wrcps (unlike full map-run times) since you don't need to be one of the greatest jumpers to have a shot on a lot of them -- if they put some effort into it.

crouching does nothing.

neither does busting out your equalizer or whatever it's called now while you're in the air

it's also not just hitting s. a lot of the time, you're only going so fast because you shot your sticky in the wrong place. if you're getting way too much speed, you probably shot it too high, so it's hitting you in the back causing much more forward momentum and less height. when you get a good rhythm going (like the jumps you see in videos where someone air pogos 6+ times or so) the amount of s tapping is usually pretty minimal.

just some food for thought

those changes he's complaining about effect the 99% as well, lol

the new drops/drop rates in act 1 allow people to move on quicker (to act2+), where they won't see much change in loot, if any at all.

champions healing faster is gonna effect the 99% way more than the 1% since in most cases, the 1% are better players.

casting animations from attack speed nerfs made ranged classes significantly more boring and less fun to play. not because you do less damage, but because you spend twice as much time running due to your shitty animation, which is just really boring when you're used to old attack speed animations. playing a ranged class at 60 in really good gear really doesn't feel much different than playing a level 10 anymore, aside the numbers being inflated.

the attack speed changes just made the game even more boring, lol

don't care if my damage goes down, but the slow as fuck animation after being used to a fast animation is just boring, almost feels like im lagging.

you guys are saying you have to AH gear like it's something that shouldn't happen.. unless you mean they bought gold for real money or something

while i do agree, it kinda kills one of the elements a lot of people really remember from d2 (going into games and trying to barter trades/rip people off/scam etc) -- but in the end, trading is supposed to be a large part of the game, you aren't supposed to find all of that perfect gear on your own.

but ya, overall, itemization is shit, and long ability cooldowns is shit -- in this type of genre, my character is supposed to feel fucking op imo. even though i can basically rape anything instantly now, my character still feels pretty lame and shitty if that makes sense lol

barbs and monks are both shit until they have the gear, then they're 'op'.

ranged on the other hand are capable of doing much more with less gear. however, with the ranged classes i feel like even with the best gear possible, the things that feel impossible would still feel impossible. i guess it's just part of the way inferno was designed (which is shit).

i'd much rather be farming bosses like d2 than the current nv buff system (especially since no class is super fucked on them). champion packs are basically either super easy, or impossible in ways that has nothing do with skill, which just isn't fun. all of the end act bosses on inferno are really fun aside maybe azmodan, who's just pretty boring imo. don't really know why i wrote this part as it has nothing to do with anything but w/e lol, my 2c i guess

Kripp has solo'd inferno as a barb, so idk what you all are talking about...it does get ridiculous is A3 tho.

it's more people being irritated that they hit a gear brick wall much faster than other classes.

barbs and monks are restricted way more by their gear than a demon hunter or even wizard and witch doctor. of course people with ridiculous gear will be able to farm almost wherever. i imagine it's not too fun when you and your friend start trying inferno and you (the barb) can't do shit, while your friend the dh is still killing most things.

You can't buy out your own auctions.
If you want to keep something then don't put it up for auction.

It would be good though if Blizzard could add something where you can start lowering the buyout and bid minimums of the auctions.

zzz

he wants to buy his items out because you only have 10 slots to sell items. if you put 10 things up and they don't sell, you're stuck with those up for 2 days. for this type of game, that's a long time -- if you haven't used the AH much, generally your items sell in <5 mins or they don't sell at all unless you put a really low bid and really high buyout. in the time your auctions are just sitting their doing nothing, you're going to pile up many more items that you'd like to sell, but have no AH slots to use. it's not that he wants to keep the items, it's just that he wants to relist them for a lower price so they actually do sell.

it basically penalizes the seller making an assumption that maybe hes some fuckhead just trying to overprice everything, but really it's just that the game is new and so many items are entering the AH with no real price averages in place, so you're just stuck guessing. there's no reason you shouldn't be able to cancel an auction that doesn't have a bid on it.

8,000 gold...?  i dont bother selling anything on the AH unless its worth at least 20k... no way to cancel auctions and having it tie up a slot for 2 days is really retarded

yes, not being able to cancel auctions is fucking retarded - i'm debating using d2jsp again which is basically the asshole of the internet gaming world for anyone unfamiliar.

and ya whoo, thats how i've felt. just from the beta, i felt like the game had a bunch of potential, i still feel like it does, but its WAY further off from being great than i expected it to be. :/
