General Discussion / Website? 404?
« on: May 13, 2012, 06:10:30 PM »
Is this happening to anyone else? When I try to read an article or look at the servers, I get the 404 error. Any help please? The forums work fine (obviously... *squee) but the other links aren't.

unless your one of those w+m1 douche bags that i despise...

Well considering how Pyros die in 2 hits, W+M1 is horrendously weak in mge.

I vote yes for pyro :)

Off-topic: I've actually seen a mge server that allowed engineers (sentries stayed after deaths...THE HORROR) and one that let you use spies.

My personal opinion on some mentioned maps:

jump_4starters_a9 This is okay, though I'd rather have it completely off the map rotation.
jump_adventure Good for beginners but gets overplayed easily imho.
jump_rush Nothing special about it, this is almost like filler to me. :/
jump_speed Same as rush.
rj_rckteer Almost TOO beginner.
rj_training_v3 This is just a horribly boring map in my opinion.

Now I'm not the best jumper, on the contrary, I can hardly jump at all. Out of everyone who's posted here, I'm most likely the worst jumper. Yet some of these maps (namely rckteer) are easy to the point of not playing.

For instance, my friend who never played tf2 before came over to my house and tried it out. I brought him to a jump server and he got to 8 on his first try in rckteer. :/

I think he means the speedshot.
Yes I do.

Can you explain how that works? And do I shoot in front, below, or behind me?

Jump Help / Skip jumps

On a skip jump, are you supposed to touch the ground and jump (very briefly) or are you supposed to kind of pogo it without touching the ground, similar to a speed pogo? I'm having trouble with the Skip jump atm and would like some help :D Thanks a lot guys

Hello, I'm MCG. I recently started jumping a few months ago x) (Tons of fun)

I'm still a beginner and my favorite map is jump_littleman. Of course, I still haven't beaten it yet :D

My main mentors are Exile and Oh, Snerf :) (They've been extremely kind and helpful)
