Problem with that is that times are always gonna be closer on easier maps compared to harder ones. So you cant objectivly determine how much points someone should get for being x seconds behind 1st.

I've thought of an idea:
Use the 100 point scale still. At the end, average the total points per player by however many maps they speedran. And then provide an additional point bonus for each map they did speedrun.

That is really bad as well, cause then sending in a bad time could potentially give you less points than not sending it in, that shouldnt happen.

If you really wanna change it just do something like 1000*0.75^(your place). That way the point difference between 1st and 5th etc. is big enough to potentially make up for a missed map.

To be fair, the system works fine if everyeone submits 5 demos, that was pretty obvious from the start. So everyone who didnt submit demos just doesnt seem to care enough.

You can't die from a double sticky without falldamage.
Try it yourself. Put 2 on the ground and crouch right above it and detonate them, you have 3 hp.

You can die from 2 stickies. They do more damage if youre slightly above the ground (cause the center of the sticky is closer to your hitbox I guess...).

Edit: I mean closer to the surface of your hitbox.

No you dont.
Just dont put your custom stuff into tf/custom/somefolder/materials etc. and use tf/materials etc. and packrat will find it.

Ya, those limits on the bottom of the compile are just soft limits, most of them are fine going over 100%, i think maxplane count is one of them

You responded to a thread where a map wouldnt compile because it went over the max_map_planes limit :D
So yeah, you cant go over that one.

what specific engine limits? you could definitely add way more jumps into this map without too much trouble.

dont worry about the maxplane count, or any of those % limit values at the bottom of the compile

This is the shortened version:

1. Create a brush with the trigger texture, select the brush and hit Ctrl-T to tie it to an entity

2. Make the brush a trigger_multiple

8. Open up the properties window of the trigger_multiple, make the output "OnStartTouch", target "!activator", it will "AddOutput" to a parameter override of "health x", where x represents the players health that the relay will set it to.

there is only timed teles on speedshot platforms dont see why thats a problem :o

Its a problem because its a timed teleport. I thought youd know that by now.
