Apparently, I'm a robot.
If you are new to jumping, soldier wall pogo should probably be the last thing on your mind as it is 1 of the hardest things to learn. Wall shots and wall pogo are different.

As for all soldier jumps, the angles will make all the difference. Placing a rocket on a wall at the perfect angle is where the great soldiers out shine the decent jumpers.

For straight up climbs of any sort, aiming roughly 20 degrees left of flat against the wall and holding W while tapping D relatively quickly works. (D stops you from moving left while at this angle pushes back against the wall and is ideal)

For wall pogo downwards it is VERY important to go VERY SLOW, do not expect to go straight down the wall in a matter of seconds. Going down a wall is simply moving your aim from 20 degrees left of flat and move it to roughly 2 degrees left of flat. When you begin to fall move your aim left a little bit so you do not continue to gain downward momentum. (Tapping D to stop sideways movement is ideal)

Moving sideways during wall pogo is merely a mixture of going up and down and tapping D more or less, timing basically.
