Sourcemod Information / Re: jumpassist ?

ye that version on alliedmodders is way way outdated, i can give you skillsrank, but!

you'll either have to setup your own database, or get the database info for tf2jump from redwine, which i hear is quite difficult.

Add me on steam if you're willing to do either of those 2 options

cool, that version on googledocs is new version, and doubly cool, it still seems to have the skillsrank compatibility from what i've glanced over in sourcecode.

It still has the horrible way of hooking into chatcommands though :S, guess i should yell at rush a bit more to make it just use commands only

but ye cool, people can now has new version

Also, sourcefile does indicate it can take both sqlite and mysql

General Discussion / So, steampipe update etc (i know.. bit late)
« on: September 20, 2013, 12:39:25 PM »
Hey people,

recently people more have shown amazement at the fact that on my local tf2 install my materials, maps and other custom files.. are like.. in their "normal" folders

So i was wondering.. does like everyone else have their materials, models, maps, whatever custom stuff in like... some other folder then tf/models/ and tf/materials/ and tf/maps/ ?

Like... was i really the only one that only got a half steam pipe update?
cos it did move tf2 from steam/steamapps/username/team fortress 2/ to steam/steamapps/common/team fortress 2/

all except bonus are possible as both solly and demo

not sure which is 39, but i think.. 2nd to last of 3rd course?
if so... then its a "fast" double or doubleskip -> double or wait-> wallclimb (possibly more ways to do it)

Well, besides me generally hating solly non-shootable walls...

I'm like, if you do the jumps proper, the regen won't be an issue, and if you don't do m proper then you can always just use !regen on or whatever + i like to keep walls solid/shootable usually; cos then people can try different things on the same jump

so possible yes... likely... no :P

also, thanks + i'll pass on your compliment to Weaszle

n1 x_dias,

(not to sound offensive, but i know it will) however, was that horrible noise in the background what people consider to be music? or did the stream just royally fuck up my sound?

yay replies

re Treynolds: true, the regen was placed in such a way to try and keep people from doing it with wallpogo, though in some places it might a bit "perfect" as in how much height/speed you need

re Stimpack: It is a bit all over the place yes, indeed cos it was intended as concmap, and yes i do understand thatll put people off... but in it's defence... first course is quite easy and in fact nearly every jump uses techniques which ppl already know, most difficult being triple on wall as a starter
(though length of jumps + oddish distancing do make it much harder then just technique knowledge)

Ahw man, well if it's time it's time.

To me Chillout has always been the best server, just simply because of the people and the uniqueness of the server itself + ofc i learned to jump there, would be sad to see it go.

however I can for the next 6months help pay for it, so i'll start by donating some today.

I still would hope you won't take it down, there is still stuff to come, things to see or try, people to meet and laughs to be had, but if you do take it down, my hat of to you Sir, it has been a great many years of enjoyment, wonder and relaxation. <3
