problem with those maps is they are just bots that u are playing with and if they do strafe they probably wont try to fake you out like a human player would. You will prolly want to learn where to aim based off of height at first, so those maps are okay, but be careful because if u practice on those maps too much i think it will just bring bad habit. I say bad habit because against human players you will prolly be aiming like u were in the training maps. Well the problem is, human players will try to fake you out with strafing and mind games. If you aim where u did in training maps, all of your rockets will miss. So i say only practice until u can consistently hit air shots on bots based off of height, but dont spend too much time on those maps.

littleman v4 is the version that got made solely because littleman v3 was broken when map cache sizes got smaller for a day or 2. The jumps are generally the same (the only difference I recall off my head being that the edgeslide isn't there). There's really no reason to upload this, it would be about as pointless as uploading littleman_fire or littleman_oworld.

Well to be fair, jumpit hasn't got a chance to speedrun v4 yet, but other servers have. Well it doesn't even matter since there were no poles on the iT servers last time i saw, and i don't think anyone cares anyway.

i play tfc and rarely play quake but i don't think there should really be a section for it. Like Dias said we would have nothing to talk about. Both games are pretty much dead anyway.

I got around to completing the rest of jump_what yesterday, so I'm going to try and record the rest of the list now.

I thought this was good enough to share here. There's already a video of it, but I had a ton of fun playing it so... yeah! I couldn't find out who the mapper was though ~ if anyone could tell me that I'd be really thankful.


Also, jump_noob2_ab's demos are recorded. I should have a video up in a day or two. After that I'm going to try for pure.

Yea that's what I was thinking, check my edit in the steampowered forums thread, I added some vmf/bsp files to try.

And at grimace, I suppose I could have, but this was simply not foreseeable. It doesn't follow logic at all, since it was working perfectly fine the day before, and the only changes I made was numbering the levels...

Hammer is such a fucking piece of shit it's driving me mad... One would think the various and innumerable bugs would be fixed for such an old piece of software, after years and years of bug fixing... not only that but vrad is probably inefficient as hell... using 100% of my cpu power and taking 20 min to compile gtfo

I'm sorry i can't help, but why didnt u save a different copy of the map every 30 mins or so? you should be able to "roll-back" whenever u want since u would have a bunch of versions of the map. If the auto thing didnt work, u can always do it manually. Just go to save the map every so often and name it like glow1, glow2, glow3, etc. every half hour. after u get about 15 different ones in u can start deleting earlier ones without a problem
