When I was playing roamer for a silver team I pretty much all but stopped mge and death match. All I ever did was free style on comp maps. When I roamed I just imagined the medic was the only one I saw. Didn't worry about anyone else unless I needed to. If the medic surfed, I would jump after him. My jumping skills are what dropped so many medics, not my dm.

Razer Molten. It has 12 buttons and I have every single one bound to something XD It's an MMO mouse but I needed it. Don't like lifting my hand off awsd and mouse to press a button. I use a laptop so I can't really say what keyboard.

Lol why? I had it binded long before I knew it could be used for higher jumps or basher jumps. Huds fuck up and it will always be needed. If I feel like going derp mode and doing this in a lobby or a pub or something I see no harm. I will never do it in a jump map or 6s match.

My first 400 hours of this game was surf and jump maps so I became used to the normal way of strafing. But it would now seem that half my friends list w strafes. If you get very good at it it can be extremely hard to predict and airshot, but it's still not...right. What do you guys think? If they're good at it let them be? What prompts someone to start strafing that way anyways, seems unnatural. I even know a jumper who w strafes and does jump maps that way(I thought that was impossible). I don't think you can do surf maps w strafing but you're welcome to prove me wrong.

When I go to MGE or DM and someone starts w strafing it catches me so off guard. The way they have to do it changes their curve in a way that I have a hard time predicting(like they come at me backwards). I do w strafe but it's highly situational. Opinions?

Also, don't lock your fps at 60. I forgot exactly why, but higher fps even beyond your monitor's refresh rate will help you.

With Chirs' Max Frames, virus stuff, and a multitude of other things I've done to increase FPS I'm lucky I can even lock it on this. I'll see if I can lock it on 100

Through prec I've managed to get maybe 30 1-5 hour bball demos with killstreak to lead you in the right direction if you really want to take on such an endeavor XD I want to make a bball movie but I'm just missing one final frag and with no good bball servers up can't really do that. Losin' my touch D:

Could totally be abused in competitive.  Imagine a bombing roamer who launches in from around a choke with the power of a triple rocket jump because his medic healed him through his freeze bind and reload. Launches in with 4 rockets left and fucks shit up.

You just have to get used to it. I jumped offline for a month or so and everything felt... wrong when I went back to jumpit. Don't get dissuaded by not being able to perform as well as you know you can.

As someone who offline jumps constantly and has getting down almost all aspects of rocket jumping I still can't do half of it in multiplayer. I don't even go on jump servers anymore because I can't even do basics there. I get 50 ping and a locked 60 fps so what's going on? I've near mastered skip jumps, speed shots, syncs, and am starting to master ctaps. When I try to ctap in multiplayer it works maybe 20% of the time and it feels like the rocket hits a few milliseconds afterwards. Is there any reason valve didn't make projectiles client side? I don't think my interp or interp ratio has anything to do with it but I'm not really sure what's going on. I have 450 hours on soldier and for me to break this gap of single player jumping and multiplayer jumping I need to understand what's going on. Thanks to all.

Joined the site to say this because I really really love bball and I used to be on it all the time. With the new changes no one is ever on and I can never 2v2. I would love it so much for it to go back to its 4 slot ways. It was full a lot but there was always a game, and autojoining a little while is better than sitting with someone you don't know for 15 minutes(waiting), and eventually leaving. BBall not being available has almost given me nothing to do.
